Garden hideaway bar coming to 16th Street will welcome dogs, families

A different vibe Garden hideaway bar on Port City Daily

Tap Yard will be a neighborhood bar and beer garden near the Cargo District, at 502 S. 16th St. It will serve only North Carolina beers on tap and be fully ABC permitted, with seasonal signature craft cocktails, including a Manhattan served with a Southern touch.

New giant beer garden opening soon near downtown Raleigh

Zack Medford has been in the Raleigh nightlife scene for more than a decade, opening bars like Isaac Hunter's Tavern in his 20s, as well as Coglin's, Parliament and Paddy O'Beers. Within the first year of the pandemic, he had closed or sold them all.
